Book early, not the day before

The museum caps visitor numbers. In season and on long weekends, guided dates disappear by the day, not the hour. Lock the visit date first, then the rest of Kraków.

This is not a Kazimierz evening

The visit is long, on foot and emotionally heavy. Most people do not plan a Main Square dinner or a second tour after it. Leave the evening empty.

Do not pair it with Wieliczka “because both are one way”

Two serious half-days in one day is a rush at the ramp and the mine stairs. Give Auschwitz its own day. Do Wieliczka on another morning.
