Wieliczka Salt Mine Tours

The Wieliczka Salt Mine, just outside Kraków, has been worked continuously since the 13th century and is one of the oldest salt mines in the world still open to visitors. A guided route descends through chambers, underground lakes and chapels — including the vast Chapel of St. Kinga — carved and decorated entirely in rock salt by generations of miners.

Tours from Kraków usually include return transport and a guided route through the most significant chambers, roughly 2–3 hours underground at a constant, cool temperature year-round.
