At the base, explore the 19th-century Fort "Kościuszko," a brick citadel built by Austrian military engineers, now home to a museum exhibition on Kościuszko's life and legacy. In 2017, the mound and its surroundings were officially recognized as a national Historic Monument (Pomnik Historii) of Poland.
